Windows Live Writer beta 2 is out. If you don't know what it is, WLW is a desktop application for offline blogging with WYSIWYG, it has inline spell check :) and you can connect to multiple blogs at the same time

Microsoft Surface is the first commercial surface computing device which should be available for purchase near the end of 2007. The technology itself is not new (can we consider touch screens as an early generation surface computing input device? How about tablet PCs?).
What's impressive is some of the applications that appear in the video below. It opens the door for new ways that the computer can be part of our life. I would love to have Surface technology on my kitchen table; I can read news during breakfast, read emails without worrying about spilling juice on my laptop, and "hopefully" it can tell us how many calories are in each ingredient in our "see through" plate in real time!
